§ 02 · The Essentials

What morpheus8 treats.

Morpheus8 treats concerns other tools can't reach alone:

  • Skin laxity (jowls, neck, jawline, décolletage, the places creams can't reach)
  • Texture + pores (acne scarring, enlarged pores, uneven skin tone)
  • Fine lines and wrinkles (both static and dynamic, especially on the face)
  • Stretch marks (on abdomen, thighs, upper arms)
  • Body contouring (abdomen, flanks, knees, upper arms, bra fat)
§ 02 · How it works

How it works.

Morpheus8 combines two technologies: fine needles that deliver controlled micro-injuries to your skin, and radiofrequency energy that heats the deeper dermis. The combination triggers collagen and elastin production, your skin rebuilds itself tighter, smoother, and more uniform.

Unlike surface-only treatments, Morpheus8 reaches the deeper layers where true remodeling happens. It's also safe for all skin types, the RF component doesn't target melanin, so there's no risk of pigment change.

What it won't do

Morpheus8 tightens and resurfaces but doesn't replace a surgical facelift for significant laxity. If you have major loose skin, we may suggest Morpheus8 as a middle-ground solution or refer out. For purely surface pigmentation, Lumecca IPL is faster.

Good fit

This is likely for you if…

  • You're 30+ with mild to moderate laxity, texture concerns, or scarring
  • You want a non-surgical option with real collagen-level results
  • You have any Fitzpatrick skin type (I through VI), RF is melanin-safe
  • You can commit to a 3-session course and 3–6 month timeline
  • You're willing to have 2–3 days of visible redness per session
Not a fit

This is not for you if…

  • You're pregnant or breastfeeding
  • You've been on isotretinoin (Accutane) within the last 6 months
  • You have a history of keloid scarring
  • You have an active skin infection, herpes outbreak, or recent sunburn in the area
  • You expect surgical-level dramatic tightening from a non-surgical treatment

Redness fades over 2–3 days. Tiny pinpoint marks scab and slough in 5–7 days. Gentle cleanser, rich moisturizer, strict sun protection. Most clients return to work the next day with mineral makeup.

Most treatment plans are 3 sessions, 4–6 weeks apart. Body work and severe scarring may need 4. We photograph at every visit and only add sessions if they'll add value.
We numb topically for 45–60 minutes before the treatment. With numbing, most clients describe it as firm pressure and warmth, uncomfortable on bony areas (jawline, forehead) but tolerable.
Pinpoint dots in a grid pattern with mild-to-moderate redness, resembling a sunburn. Day 1 is the peak, most clients return to work on day 2 with light mineral makeup. Full recovery by day 5–7.
Initial glow and tightening at 2–4 weeks. Real collagen remodeling shows at 3 months. Final results at 6 months post-course. It's not an immediate-gratification treatment, the payoff is dramatic at month 3.
Yes, Morpheus8's RF component doesn't target melanin, so it's safe across all Fitzpatrick skin types (I–VI). This is a key advantage over ablative lasers.
Yes. Morpheus8 pairs well with anti-wrinkle (addresses different layers) and PRP (accelerates healing). We often layer PRP on the same day as Morpheus8. We avoid stacking on the same day as Lumecca or chemical peels.
